Commercial
- Recruitment of
a professional training contractor and a senior business analyst for
a major commercial educational provider on the South Coast. The purpose
of these roles was to analyse current practices ‘Top-Down’
(As-is), identifying opportunities for achieving major or incremental
changes and to improve operational performance to support the preparation
of a major change initiative for their customer in the defence sector.

- The recruitment
of an entire HR department for a start-up business to include the provision
of a team of contractors in HR and Recruitment to a business providing
specialist medical, vocational and occupational health services to the
legal/insurance industries and employers. Contractors permanently employed
as Head of HR & Recruitment and HR Advisor. (Independent Rehabilitation)
- Recruitment of
interim managers and specialist contractors to support process reviews
and a major change programme as a result of a business re-engineering
initiative in the Customer Services Directorate. A three year framework
agreement for IT, Business Analyst and Project Management contractors
working on a number of change work-streams alongside permanent employees,
external contractors and management consultants. (Midlands PLC)
- Retained assignment
to recruit an e-commerce specialist with a background in on-line marketing,
website development and a core competency in marketing. (Global Retailer)
- Recruitment of
Managing Consultants in the Information Technology and Systems Integration
practice. (Top Management Consultancy).
Public Service & Utilities
- Provision of business
process design and implementation, for a government agency to deliver
a training programme on recruitment, assessment and performance management.
A three year call-off contract, awarded after an open tender process
in July 2005. (Education Agency)
- Provision of a
team to provide neutral selection interviewing and assessment for three
senior roles; Human Resources Director, Director of Interventions and
Director of Equality & Diversity. As a result of this consultancy,
Resourcefulpeople delivered further recruitment and assessment for senior
managers as well as introducing a competency framework. (Probation Service)
- The hiring of
a senior HR Manager, including the design and development of appropriate
interview and selection exercises. The evaluation of both internal and
external candidates in an assessment centre, providing a recommended
short-list for final interview. Follow-up face-to-face meetings to all
candidates to provide developmental assistance and training recommendations.

- The development
of a centre of excellence, initiated and designed by Resourcefulpeople,
which provided a rail engineering conversion course in partnership with
Sheffield Hallam University and Nottingham Trent University based in
Derby. (Rail Infrastructure Utility)
- The provision
of an HR Consultancy service during a major change programme as a result
of a business re-engineering and IT initiative with a value of £20m.
We worked alongside the Customer Services Directorate to develop a people
strategy and to implement this in phases over a three year period. (Midlands
Utility).
International
- The design and
implementation of selection processes and an assessment centre model
for professional systems engineers. Included the assessment of internal
candidates to ensure a high volume, quality recruitment hiring of circa
50 engineers to relocate from Europe to Australia. One day assessment
centres held across the UK facilitated by an international team. The
assessment centres were managed by Resourcefulpeople consultants and
utilised client employees and specialist consultants. (Global Defence)
- EMEA HR Rewards
and Benefits project including the rolling out $40m employee rewards,
across 19 European and 5 Asian countries. Project managed, 15 work-streams
(team of 75 including management consultants EMEA wide), aligning 24
countries; employment laws, ER, IR practices, treasury and taxation
laws, within various cultures. Implementation completed 4 months ahead
of schedule and $6m under budget. (Global Electronics)
- The management
of a project team of business analysts to deliver a business process
review, post implementation of SAP, based in Paris. Parachuted in a
director and team of 4 specialist analysts within 12 hours notice into
SAP implementation failure. The team recovered the situation within
7 days after working 24/7. (Entertainment)
- HR Consultancy
to plan, design, implement, manage and deliver a portfolio of projects
for a multi-million $ start-up including:
